This is not a food blog. My little one loves cakes, so I try to make some for her. If possible, I will reduce sugar or fat content in the cake. Hence, sharing what I have done.
I have been using only baking soda as a leavening for my cakes because I do not intend to invest on baking powder which I think I will not be using so often. Since I have baking soda, might as well use it.
The below recipes can be replace by using baking powder too.
The substitution is as below:
For every 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda + 1/2 tsp of vinegar/juice/yogurt replace with 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
